स॒म्यक् स्र॑वन्ति स॒रितो॒ न धेना॑ अ॒न्तर्हृ॒दा मन॑सा पू॒यमा॑नाः । ए॒ते अ॑र्षन्त्यू॒र्मयो॑ घृ॒तस्य॑ मृ॒गा इ॑व क्षिप॒णोरीष॑माणाः
Transliteration
samyák sravanti saríto ná dhenā́ antar-hṛdā́ mánasā pūyámānāḥ | eté arṣanty ū́rmayo ghṛtásya mṛgā́ iva kṣipaṇór ī́ṣamāṇāḥ ||
Translation
Rightly they flow, like rivers, like milch-cows, with inner heart for their reservoir, purified by the mind. These are the waves that stream—the waves of clarified butter—like deer that, urged on, speed from the thrower’s hand.
