Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: panchakshara
Role: liberating
It teaches inner worship through nyāsa: the body is sanctified as Śiva’s field by installing sacred sounds, culminating in the pañcabrahma aspects—revealing Pati (Śiva) as the indwelling Lord who liberates the bound soul (paśu) from bondage (pāśa).
Nyāsa internalizes Saguna worship: instead of only external linga-arcana, the devotee installs Śiva’s mantra-forms in heart and brow, treating the body-temple as the living linga-seat where Śiva’s fivefold revelation (pañcabrahma) is contemplated.
It prescribes varṇa-nyāsa and pañcabrahma-nyāsa: placing letters on the seven dhātus, meditating on ‘ha’ in the heart and ‘kṣa’ at the eyebrow-center (ājñā), then installing the five Brahman aspects as a focused Shaiva mantra-dhyāna practice.
