Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Offering: naivedya
It presents ritual action as a vehicle for Śiva’s will: the pūrṇāhuti completes the sacrifice, and the worship of Brahmā is framed as service within Śiva’s cosmic order, emphasizing that all authority culminates in Śiva’s ājñā.
Though the verse speaks of homa and honoring Brahmā, its climax is “Śiva’s command,” indicating that even Vedic sacrificial forms are to be oriented toward Saguna Śiva as the supreme Lord (Pati) who directs the cosmos and sanctifies worship.
It suggests completing a homa with pūrṇāhuti, then performing a respectful pūjā to Brahmā, followed by three oblations; inwardly, the practitioner should hold the intention of surrendering actions to Śiva’s ordinance (ājñā) as the guiding principle of the rite.
