Protocol of Tapas, Mantra-Japa, and Śiva-Dhyāna
तदीयः कश्चिदायाति वैरं साधयितुम्पुनः । अथवा च सखा कश्चिद्दुर्योधनहितावहः
tadīyaḥ kaścidāyāti vairaṃ sādhayitumpunaḥ | athavā ca sakhā kaścidduryodhanahitāvahaḥ
اس کا کوئی ساتھی پھر سے دشمنی نبھانے آ رہا ہے؛ یا دُریودھن کے فائدے کے لیے کام کرنے والا کوئی دوست آ رہا ہوگا۔

Tattva Level: pasha
The verse highlights how enmity (vaira) and partisan alliance keep the mind bound to conflict; Shaiva teaching urges turning from such agitation toward Shiva-centered clarity and release from binding passions.
Though narrative in tone, it contrasts worldly strategizing with the steadiness cultivated in Saguna Shiva worship—where devotion to the Linga disciplines fear, suspicion, and hostility into calm, dharmic discernment.
As a practical antidote to hostile thoughts, repeat the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with vibhuti (Tripundra) remembrance, cultivating non-reactivity and inner peace.
