It highlights dharmic strength supported by Śiva’s cosmic order: even great heroes like Kṛṣṇa act in harmony with Śiva’s attendants (Pramathas), implying that victory and protection ultimately rest with Pati (Śiva) and his śakti-filled gaṇas.
The Pramathas are Saguna Śiva’s living retinue—protective, fierce, and responsive to devotion. Remembering their presence reinforces that Linga-worship is not abstract alone; it connects the devotee to Śiva’s active guardianship in the world.
Invoke Śiva’s protection before challenges by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) while wearing Rudrākṣa and applying Tripuṇḍra (bhasma), mentally offering the struggle to Śiva and seeking steadiness rather than ego-driven conquest.
