सर्वमाकर्ण्य सा तस्य कुलादि मुनिसत्तम । उत्सुका बाणतनया बभाषे सा तु कामिनी
sarvamākarṇya sā tasya kulādi munisattama | utsukā bāṇatanayā babhāṣe sā tu kāminī
اے بہترین رشی، اس کے خاندان اور اصل سب کچھ سن کر بाण کی بیٹی—بےتاب اور عشق میں گرفتار—تب بول اٹھی۔
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Role: nurturing
It highlights śravaṇa (reverent listening) as a doorway to inner transformation—after hearing the truth of one’s origin and context, the heart becomes moved and ready to respond, which aligns with Shaiva bhakti as a purifying force.
Though the verse is narrative, it reflects the Shaiva pattern of devotion: hearing sacred accounts (kathā-śravaṇa) about Shiva’s devotees and divine play nurtures saguna-bhakti, which traditionally culminates in Linga worship through remembrance and surrender.
Practice śravaṇa and smaraṇa: regularly listen to Shiva Purana recitation, then mentally repeat the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with focused remembrance, letting the mind become steady and devotional.
