یہ شروتی کی مستند تعلیم ہے جسے وید کے شارحین بیان کرتے ہیں: کسی بھی جاندار کو ہرگز نقصان نہ پہنچاؤ، اور تشدد کی طرف لے جانے والی کوئی دوسری ترغیب بھی نہ بڑھاؤ۔
