یوں اُس کے مبارک کلمات سن کر بھگوان وِشنو کا دل خوش اور مطمئن ہوا، اور انہوں نے جواب میں یہ باتیں کہیں۔
Suta Goswami (narrating the dialogue; the verse introduces Vishnu’s reply)
It highlights that auspicious, dharmic speech calms the mind and invites a sattvic response—an inner condition valued in Shaiva practice for approaching Shiva with purity and receptivity.
Though the verse mentions Viṣṇu, the Shiva Purana frames such dialogues as preparatory: respectful listening and serene-minded speech are foundational disciplines (śravaṇa and sāttvika-vāk) that support Saguna Shiva worship and Linga-upāsanā.
Practice attentive śravaṇa (devotional listening) and respond with calm speech; as a simple takeaway, chant the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” after listening to scripture to stabilize prasannatā (serenity).
