अध्याय १७ — देवपलायनं, विष्णोः प्रतियुद्धं, जलंधरक्रोधः

भयंङ्करेण दैत्यस्य नादेन पूरितं तदा । जलंधरस्य महता चकम्पे सकलं जगत्

bhayaṃṅkareṇa daityasya nādena pūritaṃ tadā | jalaṃdharasya mahatā cakampe sakalaṃ jagat

تب دَیتیہ کے اس ہولناک نعرے سے ہر سمت بھر گئی۔ جلندھر کی اس عظیم گرج سے سارا جگت لرز اٹھا۔
