शिवतेजसः समुद्रे बालरूपप्रादुर्भावः (Śiva’s Tejas Manifesting as a Child in the Ocean)
तदोत्सवो महानासीद्विवाहे च तयोस्तदा । सुखं प्रापुर्नदा नद्योऽसुराश्चैवाखिला मुने
tadotsavo mahānāsīdvivāhe ca tayostadā | sukhaṃ prāpurnadā nadyo'surāścaivākhilā mune
اے مُنی! اُس وقت اُن کے نکاح کا جشن نہایت عظیم ہوا؛ اور ندی نالے نیز تمام اسُر بھی خوشی سے بھر گئے۔

The verse highlights Śiva’s auspicious (maṅgala) sovereignty: when a divinely aligned rite occurs, its sattvic radiance spreads through creation, granting even turbulent beings a taste of peace—hinting that grace can soften pāśa-bound dispositions.
The universal joy described reflects Saguna Śiva’s compassionate, world-ordering presence (anugraha). In Linga-worship, devotees invoke this same maṅgala-śakti so that discord within and around them is pacified and turned toward devotion.
A practical takeaway is to perform Śiva-maṅgala worship—japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya"), offering bilva leaves, and applying tripuṇḍra-bhasma—seeking inner harmony so that even hostile impulses become calm.
