शिवागमन-नाद-समागमः (Śiva’s Advent, the Drum-Sound, and the Cosmic Assembly)
इत्याकर्ण्य वचश्शम्भोः कुबेरः प्रीतमानसः । तदाज्ञया स्वकं धाम जगाम प्रमुदान्वितः
ityākarṇya vacaśśambhoḥ kuberaḥ prītamānasaḥ | tadājñayā svakaṃ dhāma jagāma pramudānvitaḥ
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Paśupatinātha
It highlights the Shaiva Siddhanta principle that the soul (pashu) progresses by honoring the Lord (Pati) and following His ājñā; joy arises from alignment with Shiva’s will rather than from mere possession or status.
Śambhu is approached as Saguna Shiva—personal, speaking, and guiding; devotion matures when the devotee receives Shiva’s instruction with reverence, the same attitude cultivated in Linga worship through disciplined, obedient bhakti.
Practice inward “śravaṇa and anuṣṭhāna”: listen to Shiva’s teachings (scripture/mantra) and act accordingly—e.g., daily japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a vow of obedience, humility, and purity.
