Cosmic Event: ordering of society through dharmic marriages enabling further creation
The verse situates creation within dharma: orderly relationships and righteous marriage are presented as part of the cosmic structure upheld under Śiva’s supreme lordship (Pati). It frames worldly life as a legitimate arena for spiritual maturation when aligned with scriptural order.
Though the verse is genealogical, the Sṛṣṭi narrative in Rudra Saṃhitā ultimately points to Saguna Śiva as the governing Lord behind creation and social order. Such accounts prepare the devotee to see household duties as offerings that support devotion to Śiva and Linga-worship.
No specific rite is prescribed in this line; the takeaway is dharmic living. A Shaiva practitioner may pair household duties with daily Śiva-upāsanā—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and simple Linga-pūjā as a consistent discipline.
