ईशित्वं नैरृतं पत्रं वशित्वं वायुगोचरे । सर्वज्ञत्वं तथैशान्यं कर्णिका सोम उच्यते

Transliteration

īśitvaṃ nairṛtaṃ patraṃ vaśitvaṃ vāyugocare | sarvajñatvaṃ tathaiśānyaṃ karṇikā soma ucyate

Translation

جنوب مغرب (نَیٖرِت) کے پَتّر کو ‘اِیشِتوَ’ (حاکمانہ اقتدار) کی علامت کہا گیا ہے۔ وायु کے خطّے میں ‘وَشِتوَ’ (قابو میں کرنے کی शक्ति) ہے۔ اِیشان کونے میں ‘سَروَجْنَتوَ’ (ہمہ دانی) ہے۔ درمیان کی کرنِکا کو ‘سوم’ کہا گیا ہے۔
