देवसान्त्वनम् (Devasāntvana) — “Consolation/Reassurance of the Gods”
इदानीं कुरुतस्सेवां सुभक्त्या मम नित्यशः । मेना विशेषतस्तत्र सुतात्वेनात्र संशयः
idānīṃ kurutassevāṃ subhaktyā mama nityaśaḥ | menā viśeṣatastatra sutātvenātra saṃśayaḥ
اب تم دونوں پاکیزہ بھکتی کے ساتھ ہمیشہ میری خدمت کرو۔ اور اے مینا، اس میں کوئی شک نہیں—میں خاص طور پر تیری بیٹی بنوں گی۔
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
The verse teaches that steady seva performed with pure bhakti draws Shiva’s direct grace, which manifests as a tangible blessing in the devotee’s life—here, the boon of divine motherhood through Parvati.
Shiva speaks as the accessible Saguna Lord who responds to devotion and service; such seva is typically expressed through Linga-worship (archana, abhisheka, mantra-japa), showing how personal devotion invites Shiva’s compassionate intervention.
A practical takeaway is daily Shiva-seva: Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), simple Linga-puja/abhisheka, and sustained devotional discipline—performed regularly and sincerely.
