It highlights dharmic satkāra—honouring devotees and guests with joy and reverence—as a supportive virtue for Shaiva life, where right conduct becomes an offering aligned with devotion.
By modelling reverent, orderly honour toward those connected with the divine narrative, it mirrors the attitude required in Saguna Shiva worship—respectful attention, proper ritual propriety, and heartfelt devotion offered to Shiva and Shiva’s circle.
Practice satkāra as a daily vrata: receive devotees and guests respectfully, offer water/seat/food as appropriate, and mentally dedicate the act to Shiva with the Panchākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
