susaṃsmṛtya varaṃ tasyā vidhidattaṃ purā prabhuḥ | śivopi varṇayāmāsa tadaṃgāni mudā mune

It highlights īśvara-anugraha (the Lord’s grace): Śiva consciously remembers the divine ordinance and, with joy, unfolds its meaning—showing that spiritual destiny ripens through both prior merit and the compassionate will of Pati (Śiva).
The verse presents Śiva as Saguna—personally attentive, responsive, and communicative. Such narrative remembrance supports devotional worship where the devotee approaches the Linga as the living presence of Śiva who grants, protects, and guides.
A practical takeaway is smaraṇa (devout recollection): daily remembrance of Śiva’s grace—especially with japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—to align one’s intention with dharma and receive inner clarity.
