It highlights bhakti as a direct means of grace: delighted minds glorify Shiva’s guṇas and offer surrender through “jaya” and “namaḥ,” expressing loving recognition of Shiva as Pati (the Lord) who uplifts the bound soul.
Guṇa-kīrtana and repeated salutations are classic outer expressions of Saguna-upāsanā—approaching Shiva through His manifest, worship-worthy presence (such as the Liṅga), where praise and namaskāra become acts of consecrated devotion.
Practice nāma-japa and stuti: repeatedly chant “namaḥ śivāya” (Pañcākṣarī) and offer verbal salutations (“namaḥ”) and victory-cries (“jaya”) with a pleased, focused mind—especially during pūjā, abhiṣeka, or Mahāśivarātri observances.
