द्वारपाल-गणेशसंवादः / The Dialogue at the Gate: Gaṇeśa and Śiva’s Gaṇas
तस्मात्सर्वे च मद्वीराः शृणुतादरतो वचः । कर्त्तव्यं सर्वथा युद्धं भावि यत्तद्भवत्विति
tasmātsarve ca madvīrāḥ śṛṇutādarato vacaḥ | karttavyaṃ sarvathā yuddhaṃ bhāvi yattadbhavatviti
پس اے میرے دلیر بہادرو! تم سب ادب سے میری بات سنو۔ ہر حال میں جنگ کرنا ہی فرض ہے؛ جو مقدر میں ہے وہ ہو کر رہے۔
Kartikeya (Skanda/Kumara)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Vīrabhadra
It teaches dharma-driven action with inner steadiness—perform what must be done without fear of outcomes, aligning will with divine order under Shiva’s supreme governance.
Kartikeya acts as Shiva’s empowered commander; the verse reflects Saguna Shiva’s governance through divine agencies, where devotees learn disciplined action and surrender of results to the Lord.
Practice outcome-surrender while repeating the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) before duties; apply vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) as a reminder to act bravely yet unattached.
