गणेशोत्पत्ति-प्रसङ्गः / Episode on the Origin of Gaṇeśa (Śvetakalpa Account)
ताडितस्तेन यष्ट्या हि गणेशेन महेश्वरः । प्रत्युवाच स तं पुत्रं बहुलीलश्च कोपितः
tāḍitastena yaṣṭyā hi gaṇeśena maheśvaraḥ | pratyuvāca sa taṃ putraṃ bahulīlaśca kopitaḥ
گنیش نے اُس لاٹھی سے ضرب لگائی تو بہت سی الٰہی لیلاؤں والے مہیشور غضبناک ہوئے اور اپنے بیٹے کو جواب دیا۔
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It frames a moment of divine līlā where even the Lord’s apparent anger functions as purposeful instruction—showing that the Pati (Śiva) governs events to guide devotees and uphold dharma, not from human-like agitation.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva acting within narrative time—speaking, responding, and teaching through relationship (father-son). Such līlās support devotional worship that later matures into steadiness in Linga-upāsanā and contemplation of the Lord beyond form.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate self-restraint and reverence toward Śiva through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and calm remembrance of Śiva’s līlā, especially when emotions arise.
