Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
It presents a simple domestic scene as divine līlā, highlighting that even sacred beings accept discipline and guidance—teaching devotees that self-restraint and humility are supportive virtues on the Shaiva path toward clarity of mind and grace (anugraha).
Though it is not a direct linga-instruction verse, it strengthens Saguna-bhakti by portraying Shiva’s family līlā: devotion grows through reverent contemplation of the Lord’s manifest (saguna) play, which purifies the heart and prepares one for deeper understanding of Shiva as Pati beyond form.
A practical takeaway is disciplined sādhana: keep a steady daily routine (snāna, śauca), and pair it with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to cultivate restraint (niyama) and devotion.
