This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter; spiritually, it seals the teaching as an authoritative unit within the Koṭirudra Saṃhitā, encouraging the listener to retain the dhārmic and Śaiva discipline associated with Gautama’s ordinance.
Though it contains no direct ritual instruction, it situates the narrative within the Koṭirudra Saṃhitā, a section closely tied to Jyotirliṅga-centered devotion—supporting Saguna Śiva worship through tirtha, vrata, and liṅga reverence.
No specific practice is prescribed in this closing line; as a takeaway, one may conclude the chapter with remembrance of Śiva—such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and dedication of merit (saṅkalpa) consistent with Śaiva observance.
