Rig Veda 8.9.10Mandala 8, Sukta 9, Mantra 10

Sukta 8.9

Rishi: Kāṇva (speaker); mentions earlier seers Kakṣīvān, Vyàśva, Dīrghatamas; and Pṛthī Vainya
Devata: Aśvinau
Chandas: Jagatī or Triṣṭubh (uncertain due to long pāda; requires metrical count verification)

यद्वां कक्षीवाँ उत यद्व्यश्व ऋषिर्यद्वां दीर्घतमा जुहाव । पृथी यद्वां वैन्यः सादनेष्वेवेदतो अश्विना चेतयेथाम् ॥

yád vāṃ kakṣī́vāṃ uta yád vyàśva ṛ́ṣir yád vāṃ dīrghátamā juhā́va | pṛthī́ yád vāṃ vainyáḥ sā́daneṣv evéd áto aśvinā cetayethām ||

Since Kakṣīvān called you, and since the seer Vyàśva called you, since Dīrghatamas invoked you, and since Pṛthī Vainya (too) in the seats of dwelling—therefore, O Aśvins, become attentive (to us) even now.
