Sukta 1.86

Rishi: Gautama Rāhūgaṇa (traditional attribution for RV 1.86–1.87: Marut hymns of the Gautamas)
Devata: Marutaḥ (the Maruts/Storm-Powers), with inner reference to the Sūra (hero-sun) as goal of their energies
Chandas: Triṣṭubh (probable; RV 1.86 is predominantly Triṣṭubh)

अस्य श्रोषन्त्वा भुवो विश्वा यश्चर्षणीरभि । सूरं चित्सस्रुषीरिषः ॥

ásya śróṣantv ā bhúvaḥ víśvāḥ yáś carṣaṇī́r abhí | sū́raṃ cit sasrúṣīr íṣaḥ ||

Let all the worlds listen to this call—he who moves toward the peoples; even the impulsions (of the Delight) run forth toward the hero-sun within.
