Rig Veda 1.3.6Mandala 1, Sukta 3, Mantra 6

Sukta 1.3

Rishi: Madhucchandas Vaiśvāmitra (traditionally for RV 1.1–1.11; applied here to 1.3)
Devata: Indra (invoked in the Soma context as the breaker of obstacles and giver of force/joy)
Chandas: Gāyatrī (3 × 8 syllables; typical of early Indra/Soma invocations)

इन्द्रा याहि तूतुजान उप ब्रह्माणि हरिवः । सुते दधिष्व नश्चनः ॥

índrā́ yā́hi tūtujā́na úpa bráhmāṇi harivaḥ | suté dadhisva naś cánāḥ ||

O Indra, come here—swiftly urged onward—towards our mantras of light, O Lord of the tawny steeds; in the pressed Soma establish in us even a particle of your delighting power and victorious fullness.
