इन्द्रजित्-लक्ष्मणयुद्धम् तथा वानरप्रोत्साहनम्

निहतंसारथिंदृष्टवासमरेरावणात्मजः ।।।।प्रजहौसमरोद्धर्षंविषण्णः स बभूव ह ।
nihataṃ sārathiṃ dṛṣṭvā samare rāvaṇātmajaḥ | prajahau samaroddharṣaṃ viṣaṇṇaḥ sa babhūva ha ||
میدانِ جنگ میں اپنے سارَتھی کو ہلاک شدہ دیکھ کر راون کے پُتر کا دل بجھ گیا؛ وہ افسردہ ہو گیا اور اس نے رَن کی جوش و خروش چھوڑ دیا۔
