मकराक्षवधः
The Slaying of Makarākṣa
दिष्ट्यासिदर्शनंराम ममत्वंप्राप्तवानिह ।काङ्क्षितोऽसिक्षुधार्तस्यसिंहस्येवेतरोमृगः ।।।।
diṣṭyāsi darśanaṃ rāma mama tvaṃ prāptavān iha |
kāṅkṣito 'si kṣudhārtasya siṃhasyevetaro mṛgaḥ ||
“قسمت نے تجھے یہاں میری نگاہ کے سامنے لا کھڑا کیا ہے، اے رام! تو وہی ہے جس کی میں مدت سے آرزو رکھتا تھا—جیسے بھوکے شیر کو کوئی اور شکار مطلوب ہو۔”
"Rama! To my good fortune it became possible for me to see you here. Just as a hungry lion waits for an animal, I am waiting for you."
