युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

तयोःपादाभिघाताच्चनिमग्नाचाभवन्महि ।व्याघूर्णिततरङ्गश्चचुक्षुभेवरुणालयः ।।।।
tayoḥ pādābhighātāc ca nimagnā cābhavan mahī |
vyāghūrṇitatarangaś ca cukṣubhe varuṇālayaḥ ||
اُن کے پاؤں کی ضربوں سے زمین گویا دھنس گئی، اور ورُن کے آشیانے سمندر میں ہیجان اٹھا؛ اس کی موجیں بھنور کی طرح تیزی سے گھومنے لگیں۔
