युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

तस्यबाणपथंप्राप्य न शेकुरतिवर्तितुम् ।।।।वानरेन्द्रामहात्मानोवेलामिवमहादधिः ।
tasya bāṇapathaṃ prāpya na śekur ativartitum | vānarendrā mahātmāno velām iva mahādadhiḥ ||
اس کے تیروں کی حد میں آ کر وہ عظیم النفس وانر سردار آگے نہ بڑھ سکے—جیسے عظیم سمندر اپنی ساحلی حد سے آگے نہیں بڑھ سکتا۔
