युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

रथानश्वान् द्रुमैश्शैलैस्तेप्रचिक्षिपुराहवे ।शरौघैःप्रतिचिच्छेदतान्यूपाक्षोनिशाचरः ।।।।
rathān aśvān drumaiḥ śailais te pracikṣipur āhave | śaraughaiḥ praticiccheda tān yūpākṣo niśācaraḥ ||
اُس جنگ میں انہوں نے درختوں اور چٹانوں سے رتھوں اور گھوڑوں پر وار کیا؛ مگر نشاچر یوپاکش نے تیروں کی بارش سے اُنہیں کاٹ کر چور چور کر دیا۔
