तस्यांसफलकेखडगंनिजघानततोऽङ्गदः ।यज्ञोपवीतवच्चैनंचिच्छेदकपिकुञ्जरः ।।।।
tasyāṃsa-phalake khaḍgaṃ nijaghāna tato 'ṅgadaḥ |
yajñopavīta-vac cainaṃ ciccheda kapi-kuñjaraḥ ||
تب انگد نے دشمن کے چوڑے کندھے کے تختے میں اپنی تلوار گاڑ دی؛ اور بندروں کے ہاتھی نے اسے یوں چیر ڈالا جیسے یگیوپویت (مقدس جنیو) کی لکیر کے ساتھ۔
Then Angada pierced his sword on the fl at surface of his shoulder diagonally and cut him with his sword.
