नियुज्यमानेसौमित्रिणाबाणवरेशिताग्रे ।दिशश्चचन्द्रर्कमहाग्रहाश्चनभश्चतत्रासचचालचोर्वी ।।।।

niyujyamāne saumitriṇā bāṇavare śitāgre | diśaś ca candrārka-mahā-grahāś ca nabhaś ca tatrāsa ca cāla corvī ||

جب سومِتری نے تیز دھار نوک والے اُس برترین تیر کو چلایا، تو سمتیں لرز اٹھیں؛ چاند، سورج اور عظیم سیّارے، آسمان بھی، اور دھرتی تک خوف زدہ ہو کر کانپنے لگے۔
