कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
इत्युक्तवाक्यंतद्रक्षःप्रोवाचस्तुतिसंहितम् ।मृधेघोरतरंवाक्यंसौमित्रिःप्रहसन्निव ।।।।
ity uktavākyaṃ tad rakṣaḥ provāca stuti-saṃhitam | mṛdhe ghorataraṃ vākyaṃ saumitriḥ prahasann iva ||
یوں شیخی سے بھرے اور میدانِ کارزار میں نہایت ہولناک کلمات کہہ کر وہ راکشس بولا؛ تب سومِتری (لکشمن) گویا مسکراتے ہوئے، اس سے بھی زیادہ سخت جواب دینے لگا۔
