The Awakening and Commissioning of Kumbhakarna
स हेमजालविततंभानुभास्वरदर्शनम् ।ददर्शविपुलंरम्यंराक्षसेन्द्रनिवेशनम् ।।6.62.3।।
sa hemajāla-vitatam bhānubhāsvara-darśanam |
dadarśa vipulaṁ ramyaṁ rākṣasendra-niveśanam ||6.62.3||
اس نے راکشسوں کے راجا کے اس وسیع اور دلکش محل کو دیکھا، جو سنہری جالیوں سے پھیلا ہوا تھا اور صبح کے سورج کی مانند نگاہوں کو روشن کرتا تھا۔
"O broad shouldered brother! Do this task which is difficult for others. O Scourge of enemies! I have not asked you before for such a task."
The verse is primarily descriptive, but it frames the moral contrast of the epic: outward splendor and power can mask inner adharma; Dharma judges by conduct, not grandeur.
Kumbhakarṇa arrives and looks upon the magnificent royal residence of Rāvaṇa in Laṅkā.
Not a direct virtue statement; the emphasis is on setting—royal majesty—preparing for choices that will test loyalty and righteousness.
