"O Broad-eyed friend! You are constantly under fear (timid). Give up fear of Ravana, I have overheard all that you have spoken to Ravana and his reply by hiding in a secret place out of my affection, without caring for my life."
Dharma is sustaining hope through truthful confidence in righteous action: Rāma’s valor is portrayed as life-giving, like rain that restores the earth.
Saramā uses an agrarian simile to assure Sītā that Rāma’s heroic arrival will bring emotional renewal.
Rāma’s vīrya (heroic strength) directed toward justice, and Sītā’s capacity to endure until relief arrives.
