अशोकवनिकाविचारः
Survey of the Aśoka Grove and its Enchanted Landscape
तेषां द्रुमाणां प्रभया मेरोरिव दिवाकरः।अमन्यत तदा वीरः काञ्चनोऽस्मीति वानरः।।।।
teṣāṃ drumāṇāṃ prabhayā meror iva divākaraḥ |
amanyata tadā vīraḥ kāñcano 'smīti vānaraḥ ||
ان درختوں کی تابانی سے، میرو کے جلال سے دمکتا ہوا سورج جیسے سنہرا دکھائی دے، ویسے ہی اس وقت وہ بہادر وانر یہ سمجھ بیٹھا کہ گویا میں خود کَنچن (سونا) بن گیا ہوں۔
He penetrated like an arrow released from a bow the cluster of trees covering mango grove and overgrown with hundreds of creepers.
The verse cautions that surroundings influence perception; Dharma is maintaining inner truth (satya to one’s purpose) even when external brilliance alters one’s sense of self.
Surrounded by intensely radiant golden trees, Hanumān momentarily feels as if he too is suffused with gold, expressed through a cosmic simile.
Self-awareness: recognizing the power of environment on the mind, yet continuing forward with clarity.
