Manthara’s Provocation and the Recalling of Two Boons
अपवाह्य त्वया देवि सङ्ग्रामान्नष्टचेतनः।तत्रापि विक्षतश्शस्त्रैः पतिस्ते रक्षितस्त्वया।।।।
apavāhya tvayā devi saṅgrāmān naṣṭacetanaḥ | tatrāpi vikṣataḥ śastraiḥ patis te rakṣitas tvayā ||
اے دیوی! جب تمہارے پتی میدانِ جنگ میں بے ہوش ہو گئے تو تم نے انہیں وہاں سے اٹھا کر دور لے گئیں اور ان کی حفاظت کی؛ اور وہاں بھی، جب وہ ہتھیاروں سے زخمی تھے، تم ہی نے انہیں بچایا۔
There in that great battle the mighty-armed king Dasaratha lay wounded with weapons (used) by the asuras.
