Roadworks and the Royal Route Prepared for Bharata
स तु हर्षात्तमुद्देशं जनौघो विपुलः प्रयान्।अशोभत महावेगस्समुद्र इव पर्वणि।।।।
sa tu harṣāt tam uddeśaṃ janaugho vipulaḥ prayān | aśobhata mahāvegaḥ samudra iva parvaṇi ||
وہ عظیم ہجومِ خلق، خوشی سے مقررہ مقام کی طرف بڑھتا ہوا، بڑے زور سے اُمڈ آیا؛ اور ایسا درخشاں تھا جیسے تہوار کی پورنیما پر سمندر موجیں مار کر پھیل جائے۔
Then surveyors, experts in measurment, energetic and zealous labourers, excavators, engineers, skilled workers, architects, craftsmen, carpenters, roadlevellers, woodcutters, welldiggers, whitewashers, basketmakers, competent supervisors were sent in advance.
