evaṃ sambhāṣamāṇaṃ taṃ rāmahetoḥ nṛpātmajam | pratyuvāca janaḥ sarvaḥ śrīmadvākyam anuttamam ||2.79.14||
O prince of the Raghu race (Bharata), your subjects and guilds of traders, artisans, etc, have procured necessary materials for your consecration, and await you.
Dharma is affirmed socially: when a leader speaks truthfully for righteousness (supporting the rightful king), the community responds with approval and blessing.
After Bharata argues in favor of Rāma’s claim, the assembled people answer him collectively.
Loyalty to truth and rightful succession: Bharata’s advocacy for Rāma evokes a noble public response.
