Jatāyu’s Testimony and Rāma’s Grief

रामस्तस्य तु विज्ञाय बाष्पपूर्णमुखस्तदा।द्विगुणीकृततापार्तस्सीतासक्तां प्रियां कथाम्।।।।

rāmas tasya tu vijñāya bāṣpapūrṇamukhas tadā |

dviguṇīkṛtatāpārtaḥ sītāsaktāṃ priyāṃ kathām ||

جب رام نے اُس سے سیتا سے وابستہ وہ عزیز حکایت جانی تو اُس کا چہرہ آنسوؤں سے بھر گیا، اور اس کا غم دوچند ہو کر اسے بے بس کر گیا۔
