पूर्वपार्श्वे तु गंगायां त्रिषु लोकेषु भारत । कूपं चैव तु सामुद्रं प्रतिष्ठानं तु विश्रुतम्

pūrvapārśve tu gaṃgāyāṃ triṣu lokeṣu bhārata | kūpaṃ caiva tu sāmudraṃ pratiṣṭhānaṃ tu viśrutam

اے بھارت! گنگا کے مشرقی کنارے پر تینوں لوکوں میں مشہور ایک کنواں ہے—سمندری کنواں—جو ‘پرتِشٹھان’ کے نام سے معروف ہے۔
