कथिता ऋषिसंघेभ्यो ह्यस्माकं च विशेषतः । मुनिभिः संस्तुता ह्येषा नर्मदा प्रवरा नदी

kathitā ṛṣisaṃghebhyo hyasmākaṃ ca viśeṣataḥ | munibhiḥ saṃstutā hyeṣā narmadā pravarā nadī

یہ (نہر) رِشیوں کی سبھاؤں کو بیان کی گئی ہے—اور خاص طور پر ہم کو بھی۔ منیوں نے اسی نَرمدا کو دریاؤں میں پرَوَر، یعنی سب سے افضل، کہہ کر سراہا ہے۔
