The Glory of Dhātrī (Āmalakī) and Tulasī: Ekādaśī Observance and Protection from Preta States

स्कंद उवाच । धात्रीभक्षणमात्रेण पुण्यं लब्ध्वा दिवं गताः । तद्भक्षिणः कथं स्वर्गं न गच्छंति नरादयः

skaṃda uvāca | dhātrībhakṣaṇamātreṇa puṇyaṃ labdhvā divaṃ gatāḥ | tadbhakṣiṇaḥ kathaṃ svargaṃ na gacchaṃti narādayaḥ

سکند نے کہا: “صرف دھاتری (آملہ) کھانے سے ہی انہوں نے پُنّیہ پایا اور سورگ کو گئے۔ پھر جو انسان وغیرہ اسے کھاتے ہیں، وہ سورگ کیوں نہیں جاتے؟”
