पतिव्रता भवेद्या च यावत्पूता व्रजेद्दिवम् । सुरापं विप्रहंतारं सर्वपापयुतं पतिम्

pativratā bhavedyā ca yāvatpūtā vrajeddivam | surāpaṃ viprahaṃtāraṃ sarvapāpayutaṃ patim

جو عورت پتی ورتا ہو کر شوہر کی وفاداری میں ثابت قدم رہے، وہ پاکیزہ ہو کر جنت کو پہنچتی ہے—اگرچہ اس کا شوہر شرابی، برہمن کا قاتل اور ہر گناہ سے آلودہ ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔
