Concept: When sacrifice is performed in right order, even fire becomes ‘śiva’ (auspicious), and society/worlds flourish in dharma and inner gladness.

Application: Make daily actions ‘yajña-like’: cook, work, and speak with purity and offering-intent; keep household rituals (lamp, simple offerings) to cultivate collective harmony.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Agni (Pāvaka)

FAQs

It portrays cosmic harmony: when sacrifice (yajña) is properly performed, the fire functions auspiciously and society/the worlds become established in dharma, resulting in collective well-being and joy.

The verse links ritual correctness and moral order with benefic outcomes—Agni becomes a carrier of auspiciousness when offerings are properly prepared and dharma is actively upheld.

That disciplined action aligned with dharma—symbolized by orderly yajña—supports communal flourishing; inner joy arises when conduct and sacred duty are rightly maintained.
