चतुर्दिशासु संख्याताश्चत्वारः सलिलाकराः । एवं नारायणस्यार्थे मही पुष्कर संभवा

caturdiśāsu saṃkhyātāścatvāraḥ salilākarāḥ | evaṃ nārāyaṇasyārthe mahī puṣkara saṃbhavā

یوں چاروں سمتوں میں چار آب گاہیں، یعنی سمندر، شمار کیے جاتے ہیں؛ اسی طرح پُشکر سے پیدا ہوئی زمین نارائن کے مقصد کے لیے وجود میں آئی۔
