पुलस्त्य उवाच । सम्यक्पृच्छसि भोस्त्वं यत्संशृणु त्वं समाहितः । यथापूर्वं पदन्यासः कृतो देवेन विष्णुना
pulastya uvāca | samyakpṛcchasi bhostvaṃ yatsaṃśṛṇu tvaṃ samāhitaḥ | yathāpūrvaṃ padanyāsaḥ kṛto devena viṣṇunā
پُلستیہ نے کہا: “تم نے درست سوال کیا ہے؛ اس لیے یکسو اور سنبھلے ہوئے دل کے ساتھ غور سے سنو۔ میں بیان کرتا ہوں کہ قدیم طریق کے مطابق دیوتا وِشنو نے مقدّس پدن्यास، یعنی قدموں کی پاکیزہ ترتیب، کیسے قائم کی۔”
