Concept: Śravaṇa of sacred narration destroys sin; attentive listening is a direct spiritual practice.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"Inside a quiet āśrama hall, a learned brāhmaṇa sits on a kusa-grass seat with palm-leaf manuscripts, while the listener leans forward with folded hands, eyes bright with trust. FAQs

The verse highlights śravaṇa—devotional hearing/listening—as a powerful means for purification, stating that hearing the recitation leads to the destruction of sin.

It suggests a complete, expanded narration rather than a brief summary, implying that careful and full listening to the sacred account is itself spiritually efficacious.

Approaching sacred teachings with attentiveness and humility—seeking to hear them properly—is presented as a direct path to inner cleansing and moral renewal.
