After addressing Nārāyaṇa (Viṣṇu), the Sun (Sahasrāṁśu/Ravi) immediately disappears from that very spot.
The epithet highlights Viṣṇu’s role as the destroyer of demonic forces (Dānavas), emphasizing divine protection and the restoration of cosmic order.
It reinforces Viṣṇu’s supreme divine status—other cosmic deities like Sūrya interact with Him and then withdraw—framing Nārāyaṇa as the central protector within creation-era narratives.
