Lakṣmī
Concept: Auspiciousness (Śrī) is approached through proper order and ethical propriety; even divine acts are framed as conforming to dharma and social-ritual logic.
Application: Before beginning a sacred or important undertaking, remove sources of disorder/inauspiciousness (conflict, negligence, harmful habits) and establish right sequence—purification, intention, then celebration.

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"In a jeweled celestial hall, Lakṣmī stands with composed grace, palms slightly raised in gentle objection, her gaze steady on Madhusūdana. Behind her, a shadowy, elder-sister figure—Alakṣmī—appears as a dim, smoky presence at the threshold, emphasizing the tension between auspicious and inauspicious forces.","primary_figures":["Lakṣmī","Viṣṇu (Madhusūdana)","Alakṣmī"],"setting":"Vaikuṇṭha-like palace interior with lotus pillars, conch-and-disc motifs, and a threshold where darkness recedes from the sanctum.","lighting_mood":"temple lamp-lit","color_palette":["lotus pink","sapphire blue","gold leaf","ivory white","smoky charcoal"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Lakṣmī addressing Madhusūdana in a lotus-pillared Vaikuṇṭha hall, heavy gold leaf halos, rich crimson and emerald textiles, gem-studded crowns, Alakṣmī rendered at the doorway in muted charcoal tones, ornate arch with śaṅkha-cakra motifs, high-relief jewelry detailing.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: intimate courtly scene of Lakṣmī speaking softly to Viṣṇu, delicate facial expressions, cool blues and soft pinks, fine linework on textiles, Alakṣmī suggested as a faint shadow near a curtain, lyrical lotus patterns and airy architectural framing.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlined Lakṣmī with large expressive eyes and elaborate ornaments, Viṣṇu in deep blue with śaṅkha-cakra, warm red-yellow-green palette, Alakṣmī as a subdued dark figure at the margin, temple-wall composition with symmetrical decorative borders.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: Viṣṇu-Lakṣmī centered on a lotus throne with intricate floral borders, deep indigo background with gold highlights, Alakṣmī depicted subtly at the lower edge as a fading dark motif, abundant lotus vines and auspicious symbols (kalasha, conch), textile-like pattern density."}

Sandhi Resolution Notes:
Lakṣmī is speaking to Madhusūdana, a name of Viṣṇu.
Lakṣmī appeals to conventional propriety: the younger sister should not be married while the elder sister remains unmarried.
Alakṣmī personifies inauspiciousness and misfortune; the verse frames the tension between auspicious prosperity (Lakṣmī) and its shadow (Alakṣmī) within a dharmic/social metaphor.
