एवं तात मया दृष्टं प्रत्यक्षं कथितं तव । कृष्णपक्षा महाकाया धार्तराष्ट्रास्तु ताः स्त्रियः

یوں، اے تات، جو کچھ میں نے خود اپنی آنکھوں سے براہِ راست دیکھا، وہ میں نے تمہیں کہہ دیا۔ وہ عورتیں دھرتراشٹر کی تھیں—سیاہ رنگ اور عظیم الجثہ۔
